Aspect Health is a real estate advisor, investor, and developer with a unique specialization in the new and emerging field of "healthcare hospitality". We design advanced healthcare facilities using the latest research and technologies to deliver a significantly better overall experience—not only for patients, but for the providers who care for them and the health systems that serve them.
Focused from the Beginning
In 2004, our core management team founded Allegiance Realty Corporation, which owned and managed in excess of 8 million square feet across healthcare, hotel, industrial, residential, retail, and office with an aggregate asset value well in excess of $1 billion. In 2005, Christopher Smith co-founded Maplewood Senior Living, adding healthcare to the team's focus.
Leveraging Our Specialized Expertise
In 2013, this same team saw that a complex, ever-changing, and disjointed healthcare system was building a demand for better facilities, service, and experience. They created Maplewood Healthcare to leverage their specialized expertise in healthcare hospitality to create an advanced, strategic, and fully integrated solution that would enable medical leaders to focus on what matters most, their patients. As the healthcare system is now measured by patient satisfaction levels, Maplewood Healthcare has become the go-to partner to deliver a best-in-class experience.
A Name Change
Having spent most of the past decade transforming both real estate strategy and healthcare delivery, we found that our company had transformed as well. Though we still excelled in future-focused strategy, meticulous planning, and concierge-style service, we now had gained specialized expertise, designed innovative solutions, and attained industry leadership. It seemed only fitting that our name should reflect this transformation. So in 2020, Maplewood Healthcare became Aspect Health.
